Background:
Build technically solid players. If every player has a solid foundation, then you will have a solid team. Personal development is extremely important in building solid soccer players. Team tactical skills will come with time. To create a strong team, each player needs to have a solid foundation that is developed by strong players that can function and be successful regardless of the team or club they play for.

Coach Travis has over 17 years of coaching experience from recreational, travel/select, and middle/high school including Portsmouth Soccer Club, Churchland Soccer Club, and Golden Ball Soccer Academy. Highlights include:
- Waters Middle School, lead to back-to-back championships (boys and girls); Portsmouth, VA
- Woodrow Wilson High School (now Manor High School), lead to school’s first Girl’s Conference 17 championship and Conference 17 Tournament championship, received Woodrow Wilson High coach-of-the-year; Portsmouth, VA
